Finding Websites from Your Country   

If you would like to use the Cultural Understanding activities with websites from your country, here are some suggestions. You will need to find websites for each activity that have:

Activity 1: title pages of books which tell stories about children who feel 'different' in one way or another

Activity 2: text in languages that are different from your own

Activity 3: the main character on the title page of the books

Activity 4: pictures of the insides of houses, preferably from a number of different countries

Activity 5: pictures from books where the story-line is about love and kindness.
