Finding Websites from Your Country   

If you would like to use the Literary Competences activities with websites from your country, here are some suggestions. You will need to find websites for each activity that have:

Activity 1: text - either a user's guide or extracts from stories.

Activity 2: extracts from books

Activity 3: covers of books with titles/authors/publishers

Activity 4: summaries of stories

Activity 5: interactive sections - for children to write to a friend + e.mail access.

Activity 6: lists of books - preferably with a way to vote to choose Top Ten.

Activity 7: books reviews/possibility to vote

Activity 8: books arranged thematically.

Activity 9: thematic logos - eg detective stories with a magnifying glass.

Activity 10: information on children's books.
